Study Title

Apple Women’s Health Study

Study Description

In the first study of its kind, researchers at the Harvard T.H. Chan School of Public Health, Apple, and National Institute of Environmental Health Sciences (NIEHS) launched the Apple Women’s Health Study to gain a deeper understanding of how certain demographic and lifestyle factors could have an impact on menstrual cycles and gynecologic conditions including infertility, menopause, and polycystic ovary syndrome (PCOS).

If you have an iPhone 6s or later and have menstruated at least once in your life, you can help close the gap in women’s health research by downloading the Apple Research app on your iPhone and enrolling in the Apple Women’s Health Study.

Goals

  • This study aims to understand the impact of environmental factors, behaviors, and lifestyle on the menstrual cycle and other areas of women’s health.
  • This study will also help to develop new products for menstrual health and fertility, and contribute to developing early screening and risk assessment of various health conditions.

You can participate in this study if you:

  • Have an iPhone 6s or later with iOS version 13.2 or newer.
  • Have menstruated at least once in your life.
